Biography
Emily has more than eight years of intellectual property experience, with a strong focus in trademark law. Emily has worked with clients both in the U.S. and worldwide, and brings valuable experience in assisting IP attorneys and handling matters directly with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Representative Experience
- Trademark prosecution filings including but not limited to: US Trademark Applications, Statements of Use and Responses to Office Actions.
- Renewals for all clients in the US and worldwide
- Locating and reviewing client trademark specimens and provide clients with advice on showing proper trademark use on and with goods and services.
- International Trademark Filings with Foreign Counsels.
- Cease and Desist letters.
- Copyright applications and requests for reconsiderations.
- QC intakes and corresponding with Foreign Counsel to appoint as agent of record.
- Customs registrations and renewals.
- Preparing WIPO filings including but not limited to: new application filings, assignment recordations, change of owner filings.
- Preparing requests for extension of time to file oppositions, and review status of TTAB filings
